First of all I would like to thank my coworkers for choosing me for Employee of the Month. I am excited and surprised that I was chosen. I normally am fairly quiet and laid-back. I just try to do my job the best that I can. I have been married to my husband John for 40 years. We have two wonderful children. We have lived here in Lamar since 1971 and we both came from Eldorado Springs, Missouri. In 1993 I started working for BCMH in admitting, then worked in physical therapy for 4 years. I went on to other things for awhile, but came back here in 2000 and started as a C.N.A. and now am a Unit Secretary on the night shift. I love my work and the people that I work with. There are a lot of good nurses here. If I ever need to be in the hospital, this is where I’d want to be. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and my 2 dogs. I also help take care of my good friend Pat. Thanks again for all the support from the BCMH team.
