“I am honored to have been selected as the July employee of the month. I have lived in Lamar all my life, and graduated from Lamar High School. I started my nursing career by working as a Respiratory Therapist’s Assistant for two years while attending LPN school land graduating in 1983. I worked as an LPN for 19 years before returning to school, receiving my RN license in 2002. I have worked at BCMH for over 26 years and am currently working in the Emergency Department. I enjoy my work and have had the pleasure of meeting many fine people in this area over the years. Hobbies include: working in my yard, gardening, bicycling and photography. I enjoy traveling and have had the opportunity to tour Alaska, the Hawaiian Islands, many states, Caribbean Islands and Canadian Provinces. I am an avid reader, always keeping current with changes in the medical field. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to work for such a wonderful employer; I have made many friends during my employment at BCMH and have had the pleasure of working with many fine physicians and co-workers. BCMH has been and always will be home for me.”
