Diabetes can seem to be an overwhelming disease because it impacts so many areas of your daily life. It’s important to have support from family, friends and from other people with diabetes. Don’t underestimate the importance of peer support. We provide a wide variety of presentations and activities to help increase your confidence in managing your diabetes.

  • get the emotional support you need from others like you, and
  • gain practical advice and insights on managing treatment or therapies for diabetes

When you or a loved one are first diagnosed, it’s not uncommon to feel alone and uncertain of where to find the best information and people that can help you now. We believe in making it easy to find the best people around you to help you get the answers you need, and to find support from people who can truly relate.

Meetings are every month on the third Monday of the month at 4 pm. They are held at Barton County Memorial Hospital in the Education Room. We welcome everyone for more information or to receive our monthly flyer, please call us at 417/681-5259.
